According to deputy city attorney Mike Finkle , the charge stems from a police report filed the day of the ride. The officer, nonetheless, told them not to continue on to the beach. Johnson, identified as the leader of the group, is the only person charged, the court documents indicate. I hope those children recover from the mortal peril they encountered by seeing nude people!

Daring cyclists baring all took to the roads in their birthday suits for the World Naked Bike Ride. Held in Folkestone on Saturday, around 50 riders braved the sun for the annual 'protestival'. While some of the riders decided to 'bare all', others opted to wear body paint or fancy dress for the ride through the town. But plenty of sun cream was handed out among the participants on what was the hottest day of the year so far, with temperatures reaching 34C in some parts of the country. The ride, the sixth to be held in the town, aims to eliminate dependency on fossil fuels for a cleaner greener environment, as well as making roads safer for cyclists. Last year, there were 10, people on the ride, and I imagine that this year was even bigger. People reported that they were still spotting riders at the starting point when they were almost to the end of the route. You can see great photos of this portion of the ride on BikePortland. Once we got to the starting point on the Park Blocks near the museum, we had to wait and wait for the ride to start, as there were just SO many people on the ride. But waiting had its benefits. For me, I got a chance to soak in the festive atmosphere of naked people as far as the eye could see.
